Bond is going waste his bullet and let the bad guy kill the girl before killing the guards and capturing the baddy? Oh and the helicopters just happened to arrive at just the right moment? Oh the bad guy's cell door opens and he's able to kill two armed guards with nothing but his hands? What is he, the Joker? Oh Bond just happens to crack some super enigma bullshit by seeing a few letters that happen to spell something? Oh the bad guy new that bond would stop him when he's on the ladder and stand precisely in the right spot where the train would come crashing through? Oh Bond digs bullets out of his chest? Oh there's only three people in the world that use these bullets and we happen to have pictures of all three guys? Oh there's a man coming to shoot up a room filled with important ass people and M knows and she's not going to try to evacuate? Oh Bond spends 1minute+ under frozen ice, fighting a guy and is able to swim back to the surface? Oh MI6 can't afford cyanide pills that actually work? Thousands of people using the metro and they can spot the bad guy with a security camera in ten seconds and Bond just happened to be standing right next to the same train that he gets on? Oh Bond's the best agent the world? Better take the shot. Basically everything that happened in that movie was contrived. After this, Bond gets his first mission under the 00 status, and this mission is to forestall Le Chiffre, a terrorist-financing banker. He, however, does this by killing a rogue British section chief and his subordinate. I don't think it's that hard to prove that the movie wasn't perfect. Unlike previous 007 films, Casino Royale begins with James Bond having not achieved the 00 status.
